Stress is at an all-time high, on the back of two very turbulent years with Covid -19 and world crisis every time you switch on the news, mass redundancies, less personal contact, hardships and the challenges facing your workforce daily in terms of adjusting to the new normal.
Working from home, going back to the office then back to home again and again and again! Possible financial hardships, death of a loved one, taking on a bigger workload because you have lost staff, the reasons are numerous, but they all add up and most will be struggling to a greater or lesser degree.
Your teams will be stressed, possibly struggling with wellbeing or mental health. They maybe not as productive as you’d like, with general worry about keeping their job, remaining productive whilst keeping themselves and their family safe now they have come back to work.
Maybe you are just really wanting to do the right thing by your employees and look after their wellbeing at work or maybe it’s more about your bottom line? We’d like to believe it’s a bit about both. We are all in business after all.
This 2 hour interactive session is designed for small teams of up to 10 people. (Larger groups can be accommodated but more than 2 hours would be required)
By the end of the session all team members will have identified the following:
- What causes stress in their working and home life.
- How do they behave and feel when dealing with stress and how does this effect those around them?
- What are their coping strategies when they feel this way?
- What are the signs that indicate a colleague is struggling?
- How do you start a conversation with that colleague and keep dialogue open to ensure a good outcome for all?
By the end of the session, you will be aware of your personal triggers and be more confident in your ability to start a conversation and support a colleague. Your teams will be more supportive and understanding of each other and those around them be that at work or home. They will be more productive and therefore more profitable. A win: win situation, right?
