CIPD is a registered charity and were established to promote the art and science of management and development of people for public benefit.

They are committed not only to finding ways of defining and organising work that create economic and social value but also to promoting ways of improving individuals working lives for the better.

The HR and L&D professions hold the key to unlocking that sweet spot. Good people management and development are not only good for the financial performance of a given business, but also for the well-being of its workforce and for the long-term prosperity of the economies and societies in which we all work.

In 2018 they produced a report that looked at Health and Well-being at work in 2018 and beyond.

This shows he trends in today’s workplace and proves how important well- being, mental toughness and in turn mental health are in today’s workforce.
