Versatile and professional in his approach, Paul has coached and consulted across a diverse wide range of organisations and industries, delivering assignments for leading HR consultancies, Government agencies and academic institutions as well as his own private client network. He combines his extensive business knowledge with best practices in the coaching field. A fellow of the Institute of Consulting, Paul is SFEDI accredited to provide business advice. As a coach he has worked at all levels across a wide range of organisations in fields that include agriculture, financial services, healthcare, charities, oil & gas and construction.

Paul spent the first 20 years of his working life in the finance and leasing industry, developing his broad range of business and personal skills. Firstly at Lombard North Central, the finance house arm of the Nat West Bank, where he was involved in all activities of the business, from customer services through to business acquisitions via business restructuring and the setting up of Lombard Direct. His final role there was as Head of Business Planning. This was followed by a major performance management project role with Ernst & Young before joining Interleasing, the vehicle contract hire arm of General Motors, in a strategic role.
Since 2001, Paul has used his experiences to help individuals and business owners, encouraging them to achieve results through the setting of stretching but realistic goals and objectives, on both a personal and business level. For him real job satisfaction is working with people to overcome barriers to success and unlock the potential within their business and themselves.
Since 2003 Paul has worked with a number of leading HR consultancies to bring his skills into the field of executive coaching.
In 2012-13 Paul was part of the project team involved in the rationalisation of Royal Mail sorting centres and the distribution of staff to other offices, prior to Nationalisation. He also devised and delivered outplacement and self-employment workshops to staff members choosing redundancy.
In 2014 Paul was invited by the University of Chichester to manage a major programme of EU funded business support. This project successfully supported over 60 young companies across the Coast to Capital LEP.
Experience gained has included career and executive coaching on an individual basis, delivering group workshops for training purposes and specialist workshops on business topics covering new business start-up, business strategy, marketing as well as grants and other funding opportunities.
Paul is an active member in the local business community and a consummate networker.
He lives just north of Brighton. Married with two adult children, Paul enjoys socialising, travelling and a day at the races.
